Meet Our Optometrists

Edmund Swan, OD

Dr. Edmund Swan graduated from Queens University in Ontario, Canada with a bachelor of science. He then attended New England College of Optometry in Boston for his doctorate degree. He practices primary care optometry with specialties in ocular disease and contact lenses. He has had the opportunity to go on two optometric volunteer trips to Belize, completed externships in ophthalmologic practices, contact lens private practice, a health care clinic as well as in a Veteran's Affairs Hospital. His hobbies are commercial real estate and spending time with his family. 

Kathryn Swan, OD

Dr. Kathryn Swan graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT with a degree in physics. She then attended New England College of Optometry in Boston for her doctorate degree. She practices primary care optometry with specialties in pediatric eye care, vision therapy and ortho - keratology. She has traveled to the Dominican Republic  for a VOSH optometric volunteer mission trip.  Her externships in her final year of optometry school were at a community health center in Boston, a vision therapy private practice, and both CT Veteran's Affairs Hospitals. Her hobbies are spending time with her family and chocolate lab as well as exploring new places.
